PDPs and cliques. Hockey anyone?
The lectures have started, but it's still super slack here in TJ. Friday's the best: 7.25 report to school, have lecture at 9.15 to 10.15. Then wait till 12.15 to leave school. It's such a waste of time. But got more time to "bond", so to speak. By next week or the week after, we should be getting outta school only at like 4 or 5 plus.
Speaking of all this timings, damn it, I was late today. And it's only like the first day of school school. Damn bus just drove by the bus stop. The DM is very strict too. We told him 12 was like totally screwed up and off schedule, and he says well, it's our fault and we should leave our houses at least 20 mins earlier. Boo.
It's surprising that so quickly, I've already gotten myself involved in a clique. My class is CG01/06 a.k.a triple science and as per normal, we are assumed to be nerds. Quite true I guess. But we're really not full-time nerds, just part-time, save for one guy who's super extreme. He studies 24/7, doesn't wanna join in any class stuff and only wants to go to the library. Get this - he even asked us who's Brad Pitt. That's way extreme and it's like he has no life. But to him, books and studying is the only thing he knows as life. He doesn't even watch the telly! Only the 9.30 news.
But I digressed. Back to the clique. I've realised at over 5 days, I only mostly hang with 4 other people from my class. Clement, Ye Wei, Dahlia and Bala. They're like really super funny people la. We all have similar thinking and stuff. But that's how cliques are formed, right? Because the people in the clique can relate to you.
Anyways, I've signed myself up for hockey. Met the coach today and he seems super nice. But actually, I'm still undecided on my PDP, which is basically CCA. In fact, I'm so undecided, I even signed up for the OAC orienteering camp! The best part is, I've influenced Dahlia to be sporty. =) She actually went for hockey trials and is going for the OAC camp too. That's so cool.
