Mini Shopping

I just read finish the last chapter of Harry Potter. OMG, I cried so much. I was fine until the characters started recounting the whole night leading to the death. Now, just gonna wait for the next book to come out.

After school Ren and I headed down to TM. She wanted to get heels to match the cheongsam she borrowed for Racial Harmony Day.

Dmn is damn slow la. I think we're probably the last school to celebrate it or something. As far as I know, all other schools celebrated it last week. This year, we've got a Bazaar too. To make up for the one we missed on Youth Day, I guess. I still haven't gotten something to wear yet. I'm supposed to borrow Ren's lengha but then now she says her mum might not let her let me borrow it because it's expensive. Understandable. It is expensive. Much cheaper to custom-make one in Nepal than to buy a ready-made one here in Sg. The thing is either I get it and wear some tummy revealing lengha or I have no costume to wear. No costume to wear certainaly won't do. It's the last year in Dmn!

Back to shopping.. Ren found her heels within like 5 minutes and she bought it on the spot. We then started walking around.. looking for a handbag. And who should we bump into at Metro? Ren's parents. Hilarious. Her mum didn't seem too happy seeing her daughter shopping without telling her. And while her mum questioned her about what she was up to, her father kept trying to tell her he bought apple strudle for her. So adorable! He kept smiling so wide. No wonder Ren smile also the same. Haha.

Later on, at Century, we bumped into Coach! =) She started nagging about why we weren't at home studying, blah blah, same old, same old. Haha. She insisted on seeing Ren's purchase and was quite shocked. I mean, I would be too. If I wasn't close to her, It'd never cross my mind that she'd be so girly. As the three of us were going down the escalator, some Malays just cut our path and got on the escalator first, Coach was pretty pissed. Started talking loudly about their rudeness. They didn't seem to care though.

Finally slipped away and after much goading from Ren, I got myself a handbag. Mann. I've had to keep telling myself that I won't regret it because it was just an impulse buy and it wasn't that expensive anyways. Hah. Right. I need to go off. Try to squeeze in studying for tomorrow's Physics test before I need to get ready to head for tuition.
